Applied for sales, Low basic with commission, agreed upon that 1 month trial on sales if not deploy to customer service officer with higher basic but no commission but in the end when opted for customer service officer, being turned down. Reason being, it would be very destruptive and need longer time to have acquire full fledge of knowledge.
During my 1st month at sales, made comparison between a web designer and a sales men. Isn't it like making a comparison between an apple and a orange. Was shocked when I heard that, one moment (100 calls per day and 30 sales to be close per month) another moment (150 calls per day and 50 sales to be close per month) WTF! So outrageous!
Was quite chill for a period of time, till then wanted to deploy me to sales support. On and off depoly me to sales or sales support. So contradicting.
But nevertheless, I am grateful for being empolyed. As a pre NS men, who would want to employ?
Just hate empty promises.
Last but not least, some changes for my studies plan.
Here is what I am planning to do for my future studies. Now that I am done with my International Business Dip, I am going to save $3.5K for my Advance Dip in Business Management that will serve as my 1st year degree and this will take place in year 2008 which is after I am done with my National Service. Following next, would be my Degree in Business Management which will cost me nearly $20K though I know I am going to have a hard time saving but I will definately SAVE IT!At the end of the day, I am going to prove it to the whole world that I am someone who can study, not some airhead.
(From previous post)
Instead of furthering my studies in MDIS, APMI offered a better alternative eg. Progression track, I can take up the advance dip in management studies which serve as my 2nd year of 3 years degree programme instead of taking up a advance dip in MDIS which only serve as 1st year degree of 3 years programme and follow on I will just need a year of my time to finish my final year of honours degree in either management studies or finance studies though it cost me nearly a thousand more, it cheaper for my degree in APMI which cost only $17 rather then MDIS degree which cost $21K and lastly exemptions of modules for Business Law and Business Information system.
muahahahah.....

Xiao Gary,
I was thinking of APMI too previously before i enrolled into the bradford programme. I was more or less thinking the same as you. But bradford has proven employability with many of the big banks like HSBC, CITIBANK and the like.
Choose either MDIS, OR SIM. Preferably something more reputable. Ultimately, a degree is going to be with you for a lifetime. ('',)
Hmmmm.. Thanks for your advices.
Given my fiancial status now, AMPI provides me a cheaper alternative and shorter route to my degree. I did considered all these factors before.
I meant financial haha!
Xiao Gary,
True!! 2 years is a tough struggle between work and study. I nearly died. Laugh!
One of the alternatives you could get is through bank loans and stretch it out over four years! That few thousands of dollars 不要省啦!Hehe.
